20200517 Update breedingseason 3rd round

Hi all,

Another update from the micro Holle Cropper lofts in Englum, Friesland, Netherlands.
As mentioned before, from the 3rd round again 5 squabs.
There is 1 blackpied from the blackpied x blackpied pairing. As you can see in the picture all squabs are raised by feeders, I have been disappointed too often in the past during breedins season, considering the number of birds I work with this seems to be the best solution.

From the pairing homozygous mealy barred x blackpied there again is a strawberry and a mealybarred. Too bad there is no white flights or other signs of white feathering. The mealybarred shows heavy pigmentation again, like the youngsters in the first round.

From the pairing Creambarred x Mealy barred a mealy barred male and creambarred female is born.

Below some pictures of the youngsters from the first and 2nd round. They grow out well, seem to be healthy and in good shape so far.
They stay in a deparment together woth hens that are already done breeding this year.
